You Don’t Represent Igbo People, You Want To Hand Over Their Shops To Herdsmen, Jihadists – Briggs Tells Igbo Gov.

Niger Delta activist and former Minister for environment, Annkio Briggs, has lambasted Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, said that the governor does not represent Igbo people.

Briggs made the ststement following threat by Ebonyi State Governor to forfeit shops owned by Igbo people who observed the sit-at-home order gave by the indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

IPOB ordered for a sit-at-home on Wednesday to remember Biafra fallen Heroes who died for the cause of Biafra Nation from 1967 to date.

Following IPOB’S order, governor Umahi warned against any compliance by government workers and traders in the State. He threatened that any trader that closes his shop to observe the order declared by IPOB, will forfeit his shop forever.

But Annkio Briggs reacting to this wondered why the governor should threaten to take away the livlihood of his people for remembering his kins men and women who died for him to live.

She said if the Governor can go that extend that it would be better he kill the people who are not ashame to remember their Heroes and hand over their shops to herdsmen, jihadists.

Her Post Reads: “Governor of Ebonyi State, you are not representing Igbo people and Ebonyi State people.”

“Why threatening to take away the livlihood of your people for remembering your kins men and women that died that you may be ungrateful and unworthy of the office you hold.”

“Why not kill the Igbo people who are not ashamed that they are Igbo people, when they forfeit their shops for honoring their heroes hand it over to the herdsmen, water, vegetable, etc hawkers and nail cutters and Niger, Chad, and jihardists.”

“IPOB has the support and prayers of the NDSDM as you stand up for your beliefs, hopes, aspirations, freedom and rights.”

“We pray that God of Justice will cover you and keep you safe from the agents of death, and may the wrath of our God of Justice fall on the people who betray you and your cause, because of their hunger for power and greed of politics and economy.”
