Tokunbo Idowu popularly known as TBoss was born on March 9, 1984, to a Nigerian father and Romanian mother. She originally hails from Edo state in south-south Nigeria.
She grew up in a strict home with a disciplinarian father while attending boarding school which according to her she didn’t really enjoy. However, TBoss gained admission into the University of Lagos where she had a brief stint before moving back to her mother’s country, Romania to complete her studies.

The road to stardom for TBoss began when she became a contestant at the second edition of the popular reality television show ‘Big Brother Naija.’ Tboss till date remains one of the most popular contestants to have come out of the house.
