Nigeria’s mysterious police, Department of State Services (DSS), spends at least N500 million every day it brings the head of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, to court, top sources have told SaharaReporters.

The colossal sum, it was accumulated, goes into giving coordinations including satisfactory security around the development of the IPOB pioneer from DSS’ office to the court and back to the spot.

The rearrest and interpretation of Kanu, a high-profile prisoner, to Nigeria from Kenya in June 2021 by President Muhammadu Buhari’s organization has kept on creating concerns internationally.

Thusly, should any damage come to Kanu while in confinement, it is perceived that the DSS knows that it could prompt an incredible emergency.

“The sum spent to carry Kanu to court for every appearance is tremendous. In the present Nigeria, N500 million is certainly not a modest quantity; I am thinking about how long the DSS can legitimize spending such a tremendous aggregate to prosecute only one man each time he needs to show up under the steady gaze of an appointed authority,” a source unveiled.

On Wednesday, SaharaReporters uncovered in a report that a crisis hearing that could prompt Kanu’s delivery on bail had been booked for Thursday (today).

Nigerian Government legal counselors uncovered that the move was in light of a few requests by Igbo pioneers for the arrival of Kanu.

The move followed President Buhari’s remarks on November 19, 2021, to consider the unequivocal arrival of the IPOB pioneer as looked for by senior legislators from the South-East, who visited him at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Kanu is dealing with indictments verging on backstabbing crime established against him at the Federal High Court, Abuja, by the Nigerian Government because of long stretches of mission for the free Republic of Biafra through IPOB.

He was allowed bail in April 2017 for wellbeing reasons yet failed to show up for court in the wake of ridiculing a portion of the conditions given to him by the court.

His rearrest and strong removal to Nigeria in June this year have been denounced by many privileges bunches all over the planet.
