Supervisors detained in Lagos, Kano, Bayelsa and Kaduna by WAEC for malpractice

The Head of Nigeria National Office of West African Examination Council (WAEC), Patrick Areghan, unveiled that around 10 supervisors have been captured for supposed association in examination acts of neglect in the continuous Senior Auxiliary Declaration Examination.

Talking on Thursday, June 9, during management of the examination in four communities in Abuja, Areghan said the captures were made in Lagos, Kano, Bayelsa and Kaduna States.

He said: “Our serious issue lies with the supervisors as just not many of them are solid and it’s appalling these are the supervisors that were named by the different states service of instruction and we utilized them. We don’t have the ability to assign any supervisors on our own we just utilized dependable instructors provided to us by the service.
