The Igbo summit socio-social gathering, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has portrayed northern Nigeria as probably the most secure spot for Igbos to live in and do their exchanges.
The administrator of the gathering in the 19 northern states, Augustine Amaechi, in Abuja, expressed that the district had obliged Igbo individuals past measures, saying that represented their flourishing.
While recognizing that there have been a few conflicts with their host networks, Amaechi noticed that it is unavoidable as “it is normal in a creating economy.”
On the call for withdrawal in the South East, he said the tumult was because of absence of occupations and work around there, focusing on that since Igbos are dealers, they need the North to keep up their monetary strength.
“Our seniors are saying that regardless of whether the young are disturbing and irate, we need a rebuild of Nigeria and not a division of Nigeria since you can’t sell what you produce in your town to make large deals like in Alaba Market in Lagos.”
On his part, the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, George Obiozor, expressed that the Igbo country isn’t at battle with anyone.
“All we need is to be dealt with similarly with others. It is the ideal opportunity for us to talk truth to control. We need harmony and solidarity and they can’t be traversed publicity and straightforwardness should be followed,” DailyTrust cited him to have said.
