Plateau Withdraws License Of All Private Primary, Secondary Schools

The Plateau Government on Thursday disavowed the licenses of all nursery, essential, and optional schools in the state.

Commissioner of Education, Elizabeth Wampum, revealed this at a public interview.

Wampum said the choice was taken after it was found that 5,000 non-public schools were working without a permit.

The Commissioner noticed that around 90% of the schools don’t stick to government approaches and commands.

“This is to illuminate the overall population that the working permit of all confidential Nursery/Pre-essential, Essential, Junior Optional and Senior Auxiliary Schools in the State should revalidate their affirmation,” Wampum said.
