The pioneer of the restricted Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, has responded to dissent by certain indigenes of Ogun State against the progressing COVID-19 lockdown.
We revealed yesterday that nonconformists, the larger part of whom were dealers and craftsmen, walked to the castle of the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, saying they were eager and tired of the lockdown.
In his response on Friday, Kanu said the inhumane plot administering Nigeria has kept on disregarding, what he called, the rising craving/hardships, despite the fact that the COVID-19 lockdown is fundamental.
As per Kanu, in an announcement on his checked Twitter handle, the dissent by the individuals of Ogun State means that there is across the country tension against, what he portrayed as an association that has outlasted its convenience.
“As necessary as the #COVIDLockdown is, the INSENSITIVE Cabal ruling Nigeria continues to ignore the rising hunger/hardships. The masses of Ogun State taking to the streets is indicative of nationwide angst against a union that has outlived its usefulness
