President Muhammadu Buhari has featured why individuals of the Southeast ought not leave Nigeria.
Buhari said Igbos are major to Nigeria’s development and economy.
Talking in Owerri, Imo State on Thursday, Buhari said it would be “unbelievable” for Igbos to leave Nigeria.
An assertion by the president’s representative, Femi Adesina, revealed that Buhari offered the comment during a Town Hall meeting with Igbo pioneers.
As indicated by Buhari: “The basic thing about the Igbo public is that there is no town you will visit in Nigeria without seeing the Igbos being responsible for one or the other foundation or drug industry.
“In this way, it is unimaginable for me that any Igbo man would view himself as not to be a piece of Nigeria.
“The proof is there for everybody’s viewing pleasure that Igbos are responsible for Nigeria’s economy.”
The president guaranteed the Southeast that they remain to benefit more from his organization.
He said there are progressing infrastructural improvements in the Southeast locale.
