IPC Censures Assault on JAMZ 100.1FM Chief, Demands Compensation from police.


The International Press Center (IPC) has censured in solid terms the announced fierce assault on the General Manager, JAMZ 100.1FM, Ibadan, Mr. Tony Awobode, by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Eleyele Police Station and his men.

The mishap, as indicated by reports, occured when Awobode, otherwise known as Don Tee, who was riding on a force bicycle, was halted by the DPO on a claim that his vehicle reflect was hit by Awobode’s force bicycle while attempting to cross towards the Aleshinloye pivot.
