President Muhammadu Buhari has clarified how the Federal Government is doing achieve food security in Nigeria.

He talked on Thursday while taking part in the Food Systems Summit, as a feature of the High-Level gatherings of the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the United States.

The President revealed that Nigeria had fostered a “food framework centered advancement plan that focuses on sound eating regimens and reasonable sustenance, comprehensive, productive, versatile, and practical, which will add to reconstructing our economy, making occupations, and prodding development across areas while supporting our environments.”

He said the arrangement was the result of a wide-range partner commitment outfitted towards a superior comprehension of their food frameworks, encounters, and needs.
