Grant IPOB Freedom Not so call Boko Haram Terrorists–Ohanaeze urged FG


THEBIAFRASTAR- The Ohanaeze Ndigbo rejected the Amnesty programme for the repentant Boko Haram Terrorist through the bill presented to Senate by Senator Ibrahim Gaidam of Yobe state.

The Apex-Igbo group said rather than Boko Haram members,The members of the Indigenous people of Biafra(IPOB) And others who had pursued their freedom without violence should be granted AMNESTY.

The president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Anambra,Chief Damian Okeke-Ogene stated this in an interview with daily sun, yesterday, urged the Federal Government led by president Muhammadu and Nigeria senate to look into this matter closely for granting amnesty to boko haram terrorist in this country.

This programme will bring a lot calamity into this country called Nigerian. there are lot of implication in implementing this amnesty.

“As far as Onahaeze and all the people of biafra concerned, this is call injustice;This programme is unacceptable,Uncalled for. Also the chairman of Anambra Traditional rulers forum and also the Traditional rulers of Isseka Ancient Kingdom Igwe Emmanuel Nbabuife describe this program as unacceptable.

Nnabuife said:” for the most traditional rulers in Anambra State, the plans of granting Boko Haram terrorist freedom is bad.granting this amnesty to repentant Boko Haram is grating more problem to this country.

The monarch, therefore tasked the FG to find the suitable way of rehabilitating all Nigerians affected by Boko Haram Terrorist insurgency.

The Chairman, and also the Youth wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Anambra state stated that, this idea was sending negative signal to every Nigerians.
