Dele Momodu: A single man who lost an election is to blame for the PDP’s lone crisis.

A previous People Democratic Party (PDP) official hopeful and distributer of Applause Magazine, Dele Momodu, has said that the main emergency encompassing the PDP is brought about by one individual.

Dele Momodu expressed this on Thursday during a talk with Emerge television concerning the new withdrawal of Lead representative Nyesom Wike’s camp from the PDP lobby gathering.

The PDP has been in unrest since May when previous VP Atiku Abubakar was chosen as the official applicant of the party.

Wike, whom many idea would be picked as the party’s bad habit official applicant, was overlooked by Atiku who picked Lead representative Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State as his running mate.

Wike’s allies, who incorporate Legislative head of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, Lead representative Samuel Ortom of Benue and previous Minister of Data, Jerry Gana, are demanding that the party’s public director, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, should leave.

On Wednesday, Wike’s allies reported they wouldn’t partake in the PDP’s official mission except if the party’s public executive moved to one side.

Responding to the circumstance, Momodu said Wike and his allies reserve the option to leave the party.

He said, “I need to freely engage them once more. Assuming they choose to go, it’s entirely justified. It’s not possible for anyone to prevent any developed man from pursuing a choice.

“In the event that their choice is to advocate a competitor of another party, it is fine. However, truly, this is my viewpoint, it will be political self destruction. That is reality since they have such a great amount in question.

“Will Lead representative Seyi Makinde [of Oyo state] say ‘during the official political race, don’t decide in favor of PDP; during the governorship, vote in favor of me.’ It doesn’t work that way.”

He added that the main issue in the party was brought about by one individual who lost a political race.

“The bottom line is that we have emergency, and to settle the emergency, we ought to engage the people who really love the party to help the party, to work for the progress of the party.

“The APC is likewise doing combating with their Muslim ticket problem with no answer for that. Our own is only one significant man in our party who lost a political race,” he said.
