John Terry will think about an offer from Chelsea to return to the London club as a coach after turning down the chance to join Spartak Moscow. The 37-year-old defender looked set to join the Russian side after undergoing a medical over the weekend ahead of a free transfer.
However, John Terry confirmed via his Instagram that after ‘considerable thought’ he had decided not to make a move as he was not willing to move his family to Russia. John Terry has been considering whether to hang up his boots or not and has an offer from Aston Villa, who he left in July after the expiry of his one-year deal with the Championship club.
However, the Sun claims that Chelsea legend also has an offer from former club to become a first-team coach with the Blues. John Terry’s managerial aspirations are well known, and if he chooses to retire, he will almost certainly take west London giants up on their offer.
However, former England international remains keen to continue playing and is waiting for the right offer before making a final decision. His former teammate Frank Lampard has already entered into management and coaches Championship club Derby County.
