Breaking News: Antonio Conte prepares for his final bow at Stamford Bridge

It’s been almost a year of rumours now, with the first emerging at the close of last season. Antonio Conte is set to leave Chelsea, and everyone knows it.

If the rumours are true, that would make tonight’s clash with Huddersfield his last game at Stamford Bridge. After this Chelsea head to Newcastle to close out their league season, before facing Manchester United in the FA Cup at Wembley.

There’s no question that Conte will get an excellent reception tonight. While some groups have fans have been less happy than others with his performance this season, the match-going crowd has always been very much behind him, and he gets rousing rounds of “Antonioooo” at every game, home and away.

The fact that the Blues at the game tonight will likely know it might be the last chance they get to appreciate the former Juve manager means that he can expect an exceptionally large ovation tonight.
