Breaking News: AC Milan not done with Chelsea as they prepare for another Chelsea midfielder swoop in January

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has become a target for AC Milan with the Italian giants believing they can sign him up for cheap in January.

Fabregas has one year on his current deal remaining, and with competition for places tougher than in previous years at Stamford Bridge, Milan want to persuade him to the Serie A in the new year. The Spain international’s position at the club is under serious threat with Maurizio Sarri arriving this summer with Jorginho who sits deep behind N’Golo Kante and one of Ross Barkley or most recently picked, Mateo Kovacic who also signed from Real Madrid this summer on a season-long loan deal.

Should Sarri stick to this midfield selection and slowly integrate Ruben Loftus-Cheek into his side. Fabregas and Danny Drinkwater will be looking for their next destination before the season ends.

Milan now wants to offer Fabregas a way out and according to the Daily Mail, Gennaro Gatusso’s side having already signed Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea this summer will look to add Fabregas in January.
