The Academic Staff Union of College (ASUU) has suspended its eight-month-old modern activity conditionally, an individual from the union’s National Chief Board told Channels television early Friday.
The union chose to suspend the strike during a gathering of initiative began on Thursday night and endured into the early long stretches of Friday.
The gathering was called by the union to decide its next line of activity after its state branches met over the Court of Allure controlling a week ago.
The Court of Allure had requested ASUU to suspend the strike before its allure of the decision requesting instructors to continue work can be heard.
Individuals from the union’s National Chief Board, which contains the administrators of the state parts and individuals from the national leader, went to the gathering at the ASUU National Secretariat in Abuja.
ASUU has been protesting since February 14 this year.
