General overseer of the Living Faith Church, Bishop Davido Oyedepo, has a message to people who are hoping for change in the country. With the current deteriorating economy and standard of living, a lot of people are campaigning and hoping towards a better change in the coming elections. It is in this light that Bishop David Oyedepo, the head of popular Nigerian church, Living Faith Chapel, delivered his recent message. In what was laced with sarcasm, he more or less made light the situation Nigeria is currently in, in the video that surfaced online. Stating that talk is cheap, he made reference to all the campaign promises made by the Buhari administration towards making the country a better place stating the naira value and price of fuel as examples. According to him, change isn’t brought by mere lip service but also by working towards it.
This is coming at a time where there is ongoing movement for the need for people to get their PVCs in order to partake in the voting processes come 2019. Perhaps in his own way, Bishop Oyedepo is also sensitizing people on the need to go out and work towards electing good leaders hence the phrase “work the changes you desire”.
