The people of Egberu Ndoki, Obigbo LGA in Igweocha (Rivers State), declared their support for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, in the quest to restore Biafra.
The people who made this known during their evangelism and inauguration by IPOB Obigbo Area 3, said that nothing would stop the restoration of the Biafra. Elders of the community who graced the event encouraged Biafrans worldwide to remain resolute in the struggle for Biafra.
In an exclusive interview with Family Writers Press, elders of the community said, “The original name of our community was Mgberue, but when the British arrived, they changed it to Egberu.
We are all of Biafran origin, not South-South or Niger-Delta. We are impressed by all the efforts made by Nnamdi Kanu to unite our people, we will always give him all the support he need at all times.”
“Any reasonable person knows that Nigeria is worse than a zoo. We must all join hand and fight for the restoration of the sovereign state of Biafra, ”said a veteran, Chief Humphrey, to everyone present at the event.
On his part, the coordinator of Obigbo zone 3, Mazi Eze Ndu, encouraged all members of the community to ensure that they evangelize and remain resolute in the struggle. “With our collective efforts, we will completely restore Biafra,” he said.
