The emergency in the People Democratic Party (PDP) has taken another turn as Lead representative Nyesom Wike of Rivers State challenges the party’s authority to suspend him.
Lead representative Wike, who was responding to inquiries from select writers during a talk on Friday in Rivers State, said the party’s authority understands what he is able to do.
“I beseech them today, they shouldn’t sit around to suspend me,” said the lead representative during the media visit held at the Public authority House in Port Harcourt.
“They ought to call a Public Leader Board of trustees (NEC) – meeting – presently and say ‘you are currently suspended from the party’. Anything you see, you take. They understand how I will respond.”
The lead representative has been in the news as of late, however this time, condemning his ideological group on whose stage he was chosen lead representative for two terms.
In front of the overall decisions, he reported his bid to join the race for President Muhammadu Buhari’s replacement when the President finishes his term.

While Lead representative Wike said he had acknowledged the result of the essential with honest intentions, he demanded that Congressperson Iyorchia Ayu should leave as the party’s public director for value since a northern official up-and-comer has arisen.

Asked how he could respond if he somehow managed to be endorsed, Lead representative Wike answered, “Who will suspend me, which party? No issue … what do you believe is our work here?

Different applicants in the essential included previous Senate President Bukola Saraki (70); Akwa Ibom State Lead representative Udom Emmanuel (38), Bauchi State Lead representative Bala Mohammed (38), Previous Senate President Pius Anyim (14), Mrs Tari Diana Oliver (One), and Mr Sam Ohuabunwa (One).
