Alvaro Morata has taken to social media to declare that he will be working harder than ever to prove himself at Chelsea FC after he helped to fire the Blues into the FA Cup semi-finals.
Morata had been struggling for form and fitness since the turn of the year but he netted the opening goal for the west London side in style at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.
Chelsea FC claimed a 2-1 victory over Leicester City to book their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup as they look to end what has been a difficult campaign for the Blues with a trophy.
And Morata, whose goal against the Foxes was his first since Boxing Day, has expressed his delight at helping Chelsea FC to progress to the last four.
However, the striker is also determined to increase his work rate as he bids to help the Blues end the campaign on a high.
He posted the picture below on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Happy for the win and the qualification!! There’s only one way: work, work and more work!! Go Chelsea!! ?⚽”
Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action after the international break with a crunch clash against top-four rivals Tottenham Hotspur on 1 April.
The Blues are currently in fifth place in the table as they bid to try and break back into the top four before the season is out.
